BRIDGING BORDERS

Cross-cultural Training for Navigating Business and Culture in Slovenia

For foreigners who are living or doing business in Slovenia, effective cross-cultural communication is key to creating strong relationships and meaningful connections. Our training provides the tools to navigate Slovenian culture, challenge stereotypes, and communicate clearly with local residents, businesses, and public institutions. You’ll gain a deeper understanding of Slovenian partners, employees and clients, build both a professional and personal rapport, and confidently handle the complexities that arise when adapting to a new cultural environment.

My foundational knowledge in cultural studies was acquired during my doctoral studies at the Department of Sociology of Culture, Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana. I have since built on this expertise by teaching courses in cultural diversity and tourism at the Erudio Higher Vocational School, where I have been working as an external lecturer for iover 10 years. For over twenty years, I have been refining my cross-cultural communication skills through both my work in tourism and my personal experience in a multicultural family.
